#1 I absolutly LOVE this song and Kari Jobe's voice is phenomenal!

#2 It shows just how GREAT a price Jesus paid for my sins.
I am saddened at how weak and wicked I am, yet amazed at how
GREAT and AWESOME is He!!

#3 It is a video that can change lives. Will it change yours??
Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?

Happy 40th Birthday, Steve!

Well, I pulled it off. A surprise 40th birthday party for Steve. I had it at Pullman's in Appleton. Steve's new co-workers helped get him to Pullman's and both the Alta and West crew, along with family and friends, joined us for drinks and appetizers. Our friend, Brenda, was kind enough to take the kids for the first part of the party and then she drove them over to join us for the last part. We ended up having about 50 people in all. Then, after it cleared out, we enjoyed dinner with my parents, Becky & Randy, our kids, Brenda and Seth. It was a fun time. Thank you to everyone who came and made Steve's birthday extra special!

Uranus.....My What???

Well, here you have it....out of the mouths of babes. Yesterday, our first graders had a special Solar System/Space presentation for parents and friends. All 75 (or so) of our first graders, their teachers and parents, gathered for a program in the commons. Each child made a home-made space vehicle that was put on display for viewing and each child also wrote a factual report on one part of the Solar System. Mrs. W's kids wrote their reports in the form of a letter and each child chose a teacher to write to. Then, they read them in front of the audience. So, here is the letter one of Mrs. W's kids wrote about Uranus (or actually, mine). Unfortunatly I only teach in the morning, so I did not get to hear the lovely facts about my behind!! But, I had a good laugh today when my teacher friends told me all about it.
