Chinese New Year

We celebrated Chinese New Year with my dad this year. We went to the Families with Children from China New Year in Green Bay. I have to say, we haven't been too impressed with this the last two times we've attended and will probably look elsewhere for a place to celebrate next year. Two years ago when we attended, they did not plan correctly for the food. We ended up waiting so long to be served our meal and then when it finally did come, there wasn't enough for everyone at our table to try it. It was really dissapointing, as we invited our parents to come with us and we ended up going to Arby's for the meal on the way home!

Last year, we opted out, but this year we were excited to go again, thinking they've had two years to better plan for the event. We decided to go only for the entertainment portion of the celebration and then come back to Appleton to eat at a Chinese restaurant here, as the prices were quite high for us to eat there. Well, it was another year of dissapointment, as the entertainment lasted 30 minutes, tops. We felt so bad that we had invited my dad and it was a whopping 30 minute deal.

Next year we will either join the Fox Cities Chinese Association for their Chinese New Year or we will drive down to Milwaukee to celebrate.

Cucumber Masks??

Whoever said "Don't play with your food"? It's so much fun! The boys were having fun eating and goofing around with all of the veggies I was cutting up to have on hand for snacking.

Mommy & Me

Since I am the photographer in the house, I am not in many photos. Here are some pictures I tried to take of myself with Emma.

Hi! I'm Noah!

Hi! I'm Gina's son, Noah. I'm also Emma's brother. My Mom didn't get back since a long time. I like the animation on Ni Hau Ki Lan. It's sort of like Dora. I'd probably like Ki Lan more. Okay... I'm not a girl... but I like Ni Hau Ki Lan. Caleb, my brother, used to like Dora. (Maybe he still likes it!) LOL! He is probably more... not weird... crazy?

Thank you!

Noah :)
