Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins on Sunday with the kids. Of course, the boys wanted to do Star Wars characters...so they searched online for some ideas and here's what we came up with. Darth Vader and Yoda...not too bad, eh?? We only carved two pumpkins, as Emma's pumpkin was so small, we wouldn't have been able to carve it too well. Emma had fun helping pick the seeds out, which we roasted afterward. Yum!!

One more Handsome Boy...

I posted photos of my handsome boys a couple of weeks ago....and here is the youngest of those handsome guys. Caleb joined Cub Scouts this year and boy is he excited to wear the uniform. Go figure, the child never likes to dress up. Jeans and a t-shirt is the dressiest this boy will get....except for Cub Scouts. Maybe he'll be a police officer someday?

Future Girls Choir Member??

Emma loves to sing. She often spends the first 20-30 minutes of her naptime singing songs to herself or anyone else that will listen. Here is a little video clip of her singing away in the bathtub. She seems to have a love of music. Maybe she'll be a future girls choir member...or maybe she'll use the piano that Steve worked so hard to re-finish and is currently just collecting dust in our dining room.

Bubble Duh

Emma loves gum...any kind and anytime! She amazingly has only swallowed it two times. Here is a little video clip of her asking (demanding) some "bubble duh".

Fun at the Apple Orchard

We took the kids and made a drive around the lake to the apple orchard for a few hours on Sunday afternoon. The weather is soooo warm. It was in the 80's yesterday and the trees are just beautiful. We spent a few hours walking around, seeing the animals in the little farm area and playing on the playground. It was a nice way to end the weekend.

My Handsome Men!

Noah had his first Boy Choir performance yesterday. The Senior Choir sang three different songs during two services at a local church. Don't my boys look so handsome all dressed up? What a lucky mom and wife I am!!

Ham Dance & Jumpin' Bean

Emma has dances for all the things she loves..milk, ham, bubble gum. Here's a video of her "ham dance", which is actually a "turkey dance" since we were all out of ham. The second video is of her jumping. Her latest little trick that provides hours of entertainment!

Emma the Nudist

When we had our travel group reunion, in July, Emma must have gotten some "stripping" advice from her Fuling sister, Jadyn. On two different occasions we have found Emma in her crib, after a nap or in the morning, lounging comfortably in the nude. In addition, her latest thing to do when she is mad about something is to pull down her shorts. It's like her little mind is thinking, "I'm just so mad, I'll show you, I'll pull down my pants". Tonight she did it while company was here and after pulling the shorts down, she proceeded to take off her diaper. My friends said that I should be sure to get this captured on camera and video to play at her wedding someday. If her husband is like most, he'll be trying to make her mad often...just to get those clothes off of her!
